Frequently Asked Questions about CRGC
General questions
What do the acronyms CRCG, CR&G or CRnG mean?
CRCG, CR&G and CRnG all refer to the "Chester Rod and Gun Club"
How do I submit my application to become a member of CRGC?
The best way to submit your membership application is to attend one of our monthly membership meetings and give your application along with your payment to one of the officers before the meeting starts.
What is the requirement to perform 'work hours' and how do I earn my credit?
Members may earn work hours for voluntary service to the Club that will provide them with a credit towards their next year membership dues. Work hours can be earned in many ways, such as helping out at an event or function or by doing some work around the club. Work can be as simple as cleaning the clubhouse, setting up tables, cooking, painting, or picking up supplies.
For 2011 the minimum is six (6) work hours which will provide a $30 credit towards the 2012 membership dues. For each additional six (6) earned work hours the member’s name will be entered in a drawing for a firearm at the December monthly members' meeting.
A Club Officer or an Activity Chairman must verify and approve all work hours.
