Women's Handgun clinic Jan. 27th
« on: December 28, 2011, 10:43:15 PM »
An introductory NRA First Steps Pistol class for women will be held at the CRGC clubhouse on Friday January 27th, 2012 from 9am to 1pm.
The cost is $30 for everything including use of firearms, ammo, targets, safety gear, and light refreshments. for further details, you can contact
Beverly or Howard Houle at: aim-n-shoot@comcast.net or see the announcement on the main club webpage in the Women's Shooting section.
Seating is limited, so sign up early and come join us. If you recently purchased a handgun or got one for Xmas and would like to try it out under
the supervision of a trained instructor, this would be ideal and you are welcome to bring your firearm, subject to a safety check.

There will be a bonus session from 1pm to 2pm for women looking to buy their own firearm. You will learn what things to consider before actually
buying a gun so you don't make an expensive mistake. A variety of handguns will be available to try for fit and function. For a small fee, you can
try firing some of the guns on the range to experience the feel of the gun's "kick" and noise. This often comes as a surprise to newer shooters,
causing extreme disappointment when you realize you bought the wrong gun and are now left with a very expensive paper weight that you can't or don't want to shoot.
NRA Certified Instructor in: Home Firearm Safety, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Personal Protection In and Out of the Home, and Reloading.  NRA Chief Range Safety Officer, IDPA SO
Mass. State Police Certified LTC Instructor

One of the best five hours of my life, thanks to Howard for teaching this class, and all of his range officers that helped, Barb, Rich, Kevin, and all of the others!
