New Forum member question(s)
« on: July 02, 2011, 09:09:11 PM »
Hi,

I didn't see a thread like this so i hope it's ok.

I would like to join the club. I read the rules and that you need to show up on the third Monday of the month when your monthly meeting is.

My question is, if i do get accepted, do i need to be coming to the monthly meetings? My work doesn't give me Mondays off. I get Saturday and Sunday offs. But i can take the one Monday off as a sick day.

Thanks

Hi Al,

I response to your question...No...you need only attend the initial meeting to join the club.  You will need to show up 1 hour early to complete the paperwork, show your ID, and pay the initiation fee and club dues.  After you are accepted as a member, you can use the club facilities at your discretion.

You need not attend every monthly meeting to be a member tho.  However, you will miss having a say in club activities and having your voice heard in the voting process that occurs during club meetings.

Come on down to the next member meeting.  Meet some of the most dedicated sportsmen in NH.  And join a club that welcomes all who have an interest in shooting and fishing sports.

Hi all, just joined this forum too.

Al beat me to the same question. But I'll ask a different one.

I would like to get familiar with the club rules but you have to be a member. I tried clicking it but it says I need a password.

Is there a different link that I missed?

Thanks
Chris

Al,
Once you have been voted in as a member at the member's meeting you are required to attend the new members Orientation session that is conducted at 9:00AM on the Saturday following the members meeting. That would be July 23rd.

You will not be issued your membership badge or permitted to use the Club facilities until you have completed the Orientation. If you are unable to attend the Saturday morning Orientation arrangements can be made to complete it at some other time. At Orientation you will receive your membership badge and a copy of the Club Constitution & By-Laws, and the Range Rules.
If you have any other questions please contact me at cbuxton41@comcast.net.
I look forward to meeting you at the members meeting on July 18Th.

Chris,
No you didn't miss any link.  At this time CRGC does not make any of it's Club documents available to non-members.

Thanks Colin.

I thought it was my old laptop that was giving me trouble. Lol

I would love to join your great club but I won't be able to make the July 18 meeting. I'll be on vacation that week. But I will definly try and make it for the August meeting.

Thank you again

Chris,
At their July Th 2011 meeting the Board of Directors voted unanimously to make the CRGC Range Rules on the CRGC Website accessible for viewing by the general public. They should be there soon.
Enjoy,
Colin
