You are welcome to join this forum, even if you are not currently a CRnG member.
How to Register to create an account on this system so you can read messages and participate.
- Be sure you are familiar with and agree to the forum rules and code of conduct. If you don't agree to the rules and code of conduct of this forum, please don't register.
- Click the [Register] button on the menu bar near the top of this forum. Here is a picture of it with the [Register] button highlighted in yellow:
- Fill out the information on the registration form. Note that the email address you provide must be your own functioning email address, because part of the registration process requires that you receive an activation code via email. You can't continue the activation process without receiving this email message.
Also note that if you are a CRnG member, to gain access to the club private areas on this forum, you must enter the same email address which is in the CRnG membership database. If your email address is not in the club database, you will not be allowed to access the club private areas (and this forum may appear quite empty because you will be missing access to a lot of information!).
If you didn't provide your email address to the club membership secretary, or if you changed your email address that you originally provided to the club, then you must contact the membership secretary to provide your email address so he can add it to the club database.
You may be asked one of the following questions during the registration proccess:
What is the two letter abbreviation for the State where CRnG is located? The only correct answer is NH
What is the name of the town where CRnG is located? The only correct answer is Chester
What word does the letter 'G' in CRnG stand for? The only correct answer is Gun
What word does the letter 'R' in NRA stand for? The only correct answer is Rifle
These may seem trivial and stupid to ask of you, but they are part of our anti-spam system. Users that attempt to register to generate spam will know nothing about the club and will be discouraged when trying to register with our forum.
- After you fill out the information, read the usage agreement and then click the "I Agree" check box then click the [Register] button at the bottom of the form.
- IMPORTANT: Now check your email in-box (or your spam/junk email area if you don't see the message in your email in-box) for the registration activation email; you can't continue without it! If will contain activation instructions which you must follow on how to continue before you can attempt to login at the next step.
- After your account has been activated by clicking on the link contained in the activation email which you received, you can press the [login] button (it's next to the [register] button) to login and start to use this forum.
HINT: If you are on your home computer, it's a good idea to check the 'Always stay logged in' option when you login. This way your browser will remember your password for the next time. If you are visiting the CRnG forum when away from your home computer, it's a good idea NOT to check this option.
Now that you are registered, please feel free to post a new message to introduce yourself and to say hello! To post a new message, click on the [New Topic] button while you are inside of a particular board.
