Guys,

When we began using the Forum, I chose to not include the NEWS posts in my "Show unread posts..." link. I wanted to show someone else how to do that, but now I'm old and feeble and can't recall how or where the selection to do that was!  Hints?  :-[

Bill,

If you go to member list,  click on your member name, a menu will come up on the left of your screen.

Under the Modify Profile is the option you are looking for.  On that menu is the Ignore Boards Options.  Click on that option.  Put a check mark in the forums you DON'T want to see (ie:Under the NEWS FEEDS header are the NRA News,NH Hunting News, General Firearm News).

Remember to save your changes....Thats it...Any forum you dont want to have highlighted when you log onto the forum will not be highlighted as having new messages and you wont see any posts when you hit the show posts on login....

You can still read the posts if you want....but you will have to click on the heading to see them....
