Core concepts will emphasize safety, ethical development, personal responsibility, and life-time recreational skills. Disciplines will include archery, rifle, pistol, shotgun, and black powder. Campers will also have a chance to experience many traditional camp activities during the week. Previous shooting sports experience is preferred but not essential. Youth who are not truly interested in learning about shooting sports will be wise to not attend this camp, since that is the main activity.

All necessary camp information will be provided by 4-H to the winner. Transportation to Barry Camp at the Berlin Fish Hatchery is the responsibility of the winner.

* In order to give the most youngsters a chance to experience this week, past CRGC winners are only eligible every other year.
